September 1st, 2009We have just released our latest paper from our year long research project. The first one is Women Leaders, Choice or Chance? Do women choose to be leaders, or does it just happen by chance? How come women are so grossly underrepresented at the corporate and CEO level of organizations? Women aspire to higher-level positions…don’t they? Click on the link above to find out.
Research, research, writing!
May 21st, 2009Three things I have been doing for the past few months. I will be publishing the results of my year long study on leadership and women in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for some surprising results and interesting comments from the over 150 women who participated in the on-line survey and 50 women who so kindly contributed with a personal interview.
The Power Of Women
November 22nd, 2008The 2nd Annual Women in Business Event held at Tangle Creek Golf on October 16th was an incredible success! The event was sold out in August, so make sure you get your tickets early for next year. What a great way to celebrate Women In Business. It was inspiring seeing over 300 great women connect, laugh and celebrate with each other.
We just finished our first Power of Women Learning - Women Who Lead - Session on Friday November 21. It was a sold out event. The series that I am doing for 08/09 is focused on women who are in a leadership role at work. The power and energy in the room was as always inspiring for me and for the group. We had women from large corporations, non-profits and small business. It never ceases to amaze me the incredible woman we have in this area, it is always a pleasure to work with them. Join us for the next session on February 13th, 2009 - Women Who Lead - EQ for Managers.

Leadership for Women - Research - PARTICIPATE!
May 15th, 2008Patterson McGrath & Associates is conducting a study of the personal qualities, background experiences, and critical skills of successful female leaders in
North America. The study consists of an online survey and telephone interviews. Our results will allow us to document and publish a summary of the findings and create tools, workshops, and techniques designed to help women to enhance their leadership skills.
Your participation in this study is highly valued as you will help other women to learn from your experiences and provide expertise to help guide them in their careers. We recognize that your time is valuable and we want to offer you the option of participating in the survey, the interview, or both. In return for your participation, we will be sure to share the results with you.
At a minimum, please click on the link to complete the on-line survey; it should take no more than 10-15 minutes of your time.
If you would be open to being interviewed on the phone for 30 minutes to gather additional data, please email me kelly@leadforwomen.com directly and we will set up a time. Your participation in this important leadership survey for women is much appreciated.

March 13th, 2008Patterson McGrath and Associates are very excited to announce our women’s leadership research project that we are taking on with our associate Dr. Paul Bernthal. We will be talking to over 100 women leaders from across North America to gather data on their experiences in their work world and what impact being a woman has had on their career path. We will also be gathering data from many other women through an online survey. The data will be reviewed and a white paper will be published. A Leadership Assessment tool specifically for women will be the result. If you are interested in participating either in the interview or the on-line survey please email me directly - kelly@leadforwomen.com and I will put you on my list. The interview part will take approximately 30 minutes.
